The Plymouth Illustration Awards
recognise and platform outstanding illustration from within the UK, run by BA (Hons) Illustration at Arts University Plymouth.

The first annual award opens for entries in November 2025.
The deadline for submissions is midnight, 1st March 2026.

How to enter

The Plymouth Illustration Awards 2026 will open for entries later in 2025.  

Submissions will be accepted online via a form on this website, with the option to include a written statement. Detailed guidance to follow. Sign up above to receive it first!



Eligibility

There are three award strands open to different groups.  
See if you’re eligible to enter: 

Emerging Talent Award

Open to anyone aged 16 and above who is not currently studying at degree-level.

Student Illustration Award

Open to anyone aged 18 and above who has not completed degree-level study.

Graduate Illustration Award

Open to anyone who has completed degree-level study in the last 3-years.

About

The Plymouth Illustration Awards are run by BA (Hons) Illustration at Arts University Plymouth, organised by joint Course Leaders Ben Wright and Sam Rowe. The awards were established in 2025 and run annually – with entries welcomed from across the UK.
